It's a Winter Wonderland

In the past few days, Seattle has seen more snow than it sees in a complete winter. This morning, I checked the depth of the snow on our driveway; it measured at 6 inches! The snow hasn't stopped in 22 hours; the wind it hit and miss. Last night, we had so much wind and snow, that we wound up with 2+ inches of snow under our carport. Incredible!

These rounded lumps used to be our deck's steps. Check out the snow on the deck chair's seat!

This is the view from our front door.

I took this one while lying on the kitchen floor. This is the snow that's piled up against our sliding glass door. (Mind you, I opened the door to take the photo ... the snow didn't budge)
